Gypsy Fire

Print

Combining Ben Travers progressive/shred rock background with Stuart Carter-Smith's Classical/Gypsy acoustic angle and the young Ben Holder's jazz influence, the audience is found fused into an explosion of styles.

Technically progressive with hip melodic rhythms, we find ourselves captivated with feelings of a nostalgic vision on the forefront of today. Both timeless and contemporary, Gypsy Fire is indeed the "best of both worlds".

Since the pair first collaborated in 2007 they have been charmed by a whirlwind journey of success. From their first few humble gigs in local eateries to sell out performances across the globe finishing in July ‘08 where they signed a much coveted record/publishing deal. Effortless mastery of their guitars while flirting dangerously with their audiences with unmistakable charismatic cheek, their music blends eras and cultures into their own cocktail of passion and romance and fire.

The audience will get a chance to see the harmony between two outstanding guitarists showing off the mastery of their instruments with apparent ease. The sound will feel energetic yet haunting, soulful yet jovial and will send them through a journey of Latin, classical, rock and blues.

"It's unlike anything I've seen before. Rock n Roll but not as we know it, an acoustic explosion"
